Complexion Perfection with Benefit Cosmetics Boi-ing Concealers – Review

Benefit Cosmetics are very good at beauty with a base. From the eyebrow services through to the cosmetics on the counter it is very much about getting it right, and with the latest items, it’s all about the base, how to achieve glowing skin and conceal any dilemma.

When it comes to concealers, Benefit Cosmetics have you covered – literally with four products in the Benefit Cosmetics Boi-ing range.

The original Boi-ing industrial strength concealer hides it all. It was formerly known as just boi-ing, but its packaging has had a revamp, and now it has some friends to the Boi-ing range.  It is a “stay put” full coverage concealer covers everything from heavy-duty dark circles to blemishes & discoloration.

If unevenness or fine lines are a concern for you, then the Boi-ing airbrush concealer is your “real-life retouch!”. This soft-focus, lightweight concealer covers imperfections all over the face with a flawless finish that’s virtually undetectable. It has been tested to last 10 hours and be waterproof with sheer-to-medium coverage.

Erase paste has is now know as the Boi-ing brightening concealer. It is the same great formula with the same shades, and I welcome the new name, the introduction into the Benefit Boi-ing Concealers. The boi-ing brightening concealer is full coverage and ideal for brightening pink undertones.

Last but not least we have the Boi-ing hydrating concealer. Formerly known as Fakeup, Boi-ing hydrating concealer hides dark circles and visibly smooths fine lines. Plus with Vitamin E & apple seed extract, this hydra-smoothing formula has been tested and keeps skin hydrated for 6 hours. It is lightweight and has a very natural finish.

So now you have the low down but what are my thought on Benefit Cosmetics newest product Boi-ing airbrush concealer?

I have had a play with the new boi-ing airbrush concealer the latest product to the collection.

The Packaging: Is pretty cool! The box is telling me it is medium coverage and is shade No.1. The jar itself is also very clear. I also appreciated it was different to the Boi-ing industrial strength concealer. This is important as some days I love full coverage and other days medium coverage for the win. Making the products easy to identify in my bathroom is highly helpful. I also liked that it comes with a mini tips and tricks booklet within the box.

The Product: This product does what it says it does, It conceals, and it is of medium coverage. It did smooth and was lightweight. It also has a great long wear time. The texture is soft and has a melting feel to it. Creamy and very easy to blend.

Does it blur? Well, Sort of. I ended up using Benefit’s Porefessional underneath this product to give that airbrush effect.

Boi-ing airbrush concealer is priced at $38 NZD at Sephora Online and I feel like that is a fair price. This product will last a while.

Overall: I like it, and I will keep on using it. I do think this product would be ideal for those red spots thanks to its bendability.
