Winter is well in truly here and nothing beats Sunday evenings at the cinemas, popcorn in hand. Here are my suggestions for your movie watching enjoyment this June.
If you’re looking for fun go and see….Finding Dory
Out the 23rd June Finding Dory is a must see. Take your nephew, your sister or even a bestie because this film will appeal to all ages. It is Disney after all. Finding Nemo fans can rejoice. I personally loved Ellen Degeneres as dory! The ‘Voice’ casting was really on point.
In the mood for a Horror? The Conjuring 2 is my recommendation.
Set in 1977, paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren travel to England to help a single mum raising four children who are plagued by malicious spirits. Did I mention it’s based on a true story? They even showed the photos. Was I scared? I little. Did I enjoy it? A lot.
Looking for a magic night? Now You See Me 2 is out in cinemas
The Four Horsemen – Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Dave Franco and Lizzy Caplan – are back in this sequel. This time, they’re joined by a familiar-looking magician… Daniel Radcliffe and they travel countries. You won’t be disappointed.
History your thing? Labyrinth of Lies blew my mind.
You’ll need to be in the mood for this one, however, Labyrinth of Lies is a brilliant film. In post-WWII Germany, a public prosecutor attempts to bring Auschwitz war criminals to justice. It’s deep, it’s dark and it’s powerful. It is out June 23rd so add it to your watch-list.
Looking to get lost? Alice in Wonderland, Through the Looking Glass, will help you with that one.
This film, although slow is fresh. It is different, I have no idea what’s going to happen and sometimes that is the point of a movie. Concepts around time also kept me up all night, having me lost in my thoughts. Johnny Deep was excellent and the make-up was WOW. Who comes up with this stuff I do not know.
Do you have any recommendations for me?
