Lancôme Advanced Genifique Sensitive – A One Month Treatment to Combat Bad Skin Days

We all have bad hair days, but what about bad skin days? Those days when our skin responds to seasonal changes, periods of stress or disruptions in our diet. We all know them, and often they lead to unpleasant sensations such as heat discomfort, stinging or itching and major frustrations when it comes to feeling good. Luckily for us, Lancôme has developed Lancôme Advanced Génifique Sensitive.

What is Lancôme Advanced Génifique Sensitive

Lancôme Advanced Génifique Sensitive, a one-month course of treatment with a freshly activated formula that soothes the skin, stimulates its youthful properties and strengthens it when it is sensitive. Thanks to a capsule that contains antioxidants that are 99% pure.

It offers all the power of Lancôme Advanced Génifique Youth Activator but is enhanced new probiotics as well as with pure antioxidant active ingredients which when realised come out blue. These consist of ferulic acid and vitamin E. These ingredients combined can target a broad range of stresses and is best kept fresh until you are ready to use.

To realise the active antioxidant ingredients the bottle simply just needs to be opened. You press and turn the top of the antioxidant ampoule. The blue product will rush out and combine. Shake the bottle for 1 minute until the Lancôme Advanced Genifique Sensitive is a grey colour. You then remove the empty blue ampoule and replace it with the silver pipette.

Once opened you have one month to use the fresh treatment daily. One month to soothe, balance and repair the skin. One month until bad skin days are better.

Bad Skin Days – What are they?

Lancôme Advanced Génifique Sensitive is made for those bad skin days. In this case, we are not talking about established skin condition but a common occurrence that affects all woman. They don’t happen all the time, but they do have a real impact on the skin.

Bad skin days refers to the skin’s reaction to the environment, stress, lifestyle, diet, hormones, the list goes on, the result of which manifests in many different ways from tight skin to tingling, itchy skin, redness, and discomfort.

The word Lancome uses to describe this chrono-sensitivity  – temporary outbreaks of sensitivity that may last from several days to several weeks and flare up several times a year.

Lancôme has studied this phenomenon and made an observation: during these times of skin sensitivity, a state of inflammatory crisis seizes the skin and ageing accelerates. Scary fact!

Personally, bad skin days are a thing for me. At times my skin is unsettled. I moved environments, into a new apartment, I was and am gyming twice a day and showering twice a day, and my hormones are a little unbalanced to the point where I take medications for it. My beautiful clear skin was bumpy and dry, very dry. It’s been bothering me now for a month or so. I was suffering from chrono-sensitivity.

With this in mind, I decided that I wanted to give Lancôme Advanced Génifique Sensitive a try.

How does Lancôme Advanced Génifique Sensitive help bad skin days?

Lancôme Advanced Génifique Sensitive combines three major probiotics fractions for the first time. These are formulated to Soothe the skin, Optimise and strengthen the skin’s barrier, and work towards firmer more plump skin. It will protect the skin and combat oxidation.

Over time, this serum, featuring an antioxidant combination of pure ferulic acid and pure vitamin E, helps strengthen skin against free radicals induced by UV rays, infrared radiation and pollution, which may lead to visible signs of accelerated skin aging, improving the look of skin for a healthier-looking complexion.

It will protect the skin and combat oxidation.

My Review of Lancôme Advanced Génifique Sensitive

I applied Lancôme Advanced Génifique Sensitive every night before bed and what it felt like, and how it was described to me was a plaster effect. Like a band aid for the skin. Redness was reduced from day one.

After two weeks I noticed my skin was smoother and plumper. I also felt happier overall about my skin’s condition and shape which made makeup application better.

What I liked about this product most was how easy it was to incorporate into your routine. I only swapped out Lancôme Advanced Génifique Youth Activator for Lancôme Advanced Génifique Sensitive at night time. Still using the Youth Activator in the morning of course. My routine didn’t have to change, and it wasn’t dramatic because the last thing I wanted to do was to stress about my beauty routine!

I also was impressed by the price point. I typically pay around $120 for a facial and peel around these times of chrono-sensitivity and some times will have two over the course of six weeks. More or less I find this just removes the dead skin cells and encourages cell renewal.  With Lancôme Advanced Génifique Sensitive I felt like I got to the root of the problem and built my skin up to be stronger.

As for the thirty days, after two weeks I realised this bottle would last me a lot longer, so I started working it into my neck and decollete. I often get itchy in my collar bone area in times of stress.

Overall I would use Lancôme Advanced Génifique Sensitive again. It did what It said It would and it is the perfect solution when I have had enough of those bad skin days.

It retails for $132 at selected department stores, Farmers and pharmacies and is available right now
