L’Oreal Paris Pure Clay Cleansers – L’Oréal Expands Pure-Clay Range – A Beauty Review

After the success of the L’Oréal Paris Pure Clay Masks L’Oreal has expanded the pure clay range with three L’Oreal Paris Pure Clay Cleansers.

The three cleansers each designed to target specific skin concerns each have a unique formula and uses the three clays in a soap free cleansing base to purify skin on a daily basis. Now you can use a face wash which works in conjunction with your favourite weekly pure clay mask.

All of the products in the Pure-Clay range are all formulated with the three signature mineral clays; Kaolin (to absorb excess shine and purify the skin), Montmorillonite (to balance and hydrate the skin) and Ghassoul (a traditional Moroccan volcanic clay to purify skin).

Each cleanser and mask are also formulated with another specific ingredient to address specific skin needs.

Below is a little more information on the THREE L’Oreal Paris Pure Clay Cleansers

L’Oreal Paris Pure Clay Purifying Cream Wash

The L’Oreal Paris Pure Clay Purifying Cream Wash (The green one) purifies, mattifies and cleanses. Formulated with eucalyptus this cleanser goes beyond daily cleansing to deep clean and remove excess oil leaving skin refreshed. The eucalyptus leaves skin with a refreshing, cooling sensation and is perfect to help balance oily skin on a daily basis.

If oil is a problem for you, this is the one for you.

L’Oreal Paris Pure Clay Detoxifying Gel Wash

The L’Oreal Paris Pure Clay Detoxifying Gel Wash (he black one) Detoxifies, brightens and cleanses. Charcoal is the special ingredient here used to deeply cleanse skin and energise it, leaving it with a vibrant glow. This formula is fantastic for drawing out dirt, oil and pollution without drying skin out.

If you are not sure which one to try first this is my pick. Also ideal if blackheads and breakouts are skin issues right now.

L’Oreal Paris Pure Clay Exfoliating Scrub

The L’Oreal Paris Pure Clay Exfoliating Scrub (The red brick one) will exfoliate soothe and cleanse. The key ingredient is Red Algae. Red Algae will help minimize large pores and smooth rough, textured skin. It has a slightly gritty texture to help resurface skin gently and leaves the skin super soft after each use.

Great if your skin is feeling on the rough side and just needs a little love.

Overall – I think they are a great concept and a great size at 150ml. Also priced at $14.99 is another bonus.
This clay cleanser has a lightweight, creamy gel texture that’s easy to work with. It doesn’t foam up a lot but has a light lather. It left my skin thoroughly clean and refreshed without any dry, tight feeling. Many clay based cleansers or scrubs can be too drying but that’s not the case at all with these ones from L’Oreal.

If you have a lot of makeup on then, I suggest a pre wash with some makeup remover or L’Oreal’s new Micellar Water otherwise these guys are ideal for finishing your beauty routine.

Have you tried them?
