Right now my wardrobe is 60% activewear, and as I live in it I only want the best, workout gear that not only looks good, but it also fits well and wears well.
Introducing MORFA. Morfa was inspired by the word Morph and has two meanings for the kiwi owned company, founded by Gregory O’Connor; he explains 1. Morphing into a better you through an active lifestyle. 2. The mixture of quality, tech, and style that make up our products.
From the studio to the street, Morfa is all about staying stylish, comfortable and athletically inspired, on the go. In constant pursuit of innovation, our gear is built with a parallel focus on performance and presentation. “While we’re built on a love for active lifestyles, this isn’t the only concept that we live and breathe. Yes, we design threads to sweat in. But we also place unwavering emphasis on creating clothing that’s aesthetic by nature,” says founder Greg O’Connor.
I asked Gregory O’Connor the process behind selecting and designing the range and what factors were considered. “The factors that I focus on when designing a range are quality, tech, and style. I try to create flattering silhouettes, high-quality fabrics (I’m obsessed with the quality of performance fabrics) with a more minimalist lifestyle orientated look. Products that seamlessly integrate into your wardrobe, without sticking out like a sore thumb. Ultimately I want to create activewear that our customers value.
For me, it was the quality that first stood out. All the little details, the seams, etc. made for a comfy fit, a fit which would grow and move with me.
The core goal at Morfa or the Morfa mantra as it is known is the goal of empowering everyday people with active wardrobes that step up when it counts. Understated yet always urbane, we shape fitness gear that’s as strong, enduring and style conscious as the people who wear it. From the studio to the street, Morfa is all about staying stylish, comfortable and athletically inspired, on the go. In constant pursuit of innovation, our gear is built with a parallel focus on performance and presentation.
I love wearing my Morfa, the tights are my very fave and even in the rain on a cold Sunday morning I found comfort in Morfa. Thank you Annupam for the amazing photography skills!
