The latest from Sally Hansen promises a revolutionary new gel manicure system without the light – sounds amazing to me. Introducing the Sally Hansen Miracle Gel.
When I heard about this polish I was intrigued. I am a regular gel wearer but going to get a manicure on the regular is time-consuming and costly if you are on a budget. If the Sally Hansen Miracle Gel works for me then I will be one happy girl!
For this review, I tested Sally Hansen Miracle Gel on myself (as I do) and my mother also wanted in on the game. So we sat down and painted our nails on a rainy Sunday night.
To apply the Sally Hansen Miracle Gel it is pretty easy. First, you apply two coats of Miracle Gel Colour and then you apply one coat of the Miracle Gel Top Coat – Just as you would your normal nail polish. We both commented on the comfort of the handle and the angle of the brush helps to apply the polish and my mum still could not believe no lamp was needed.
The result – It looked good, It looked like the gel mani’s we go and get at the salon.
The question was, would Sally Hansen Miracle Gel last the distance? YES!, Yes it does.
For me personally, when I apply polish I am lucky if they last a day without getting chipped and I’m happy if my gel manicure lasts more than a week. My nail bed is oily and noting can stick, I’m also very rough, So I was stoked when the polish lasted five massive days! Over the moon. As for my mum, well she’s still going strong and it’s been seven plus days, she said she has chipped a nail but has also been pretty rough.
Okay, so I’m in love. Sally Hansen Miracle Gel polish lasted beautifully and removal was a breeze. I wasn’t picking and pulling on my own nail bed. I was just using simple nail polish remover I had lying around. I hate removing nail polish so much so this was my biggest concern. At $16.99 I’m heading into Farmers to pick up some more colour options – I have 12 to choose from.
If you give Sally Hansen Miracle Gel ago please let me know. I want to hear your wear time.
