On Wednesday, I attended an event to celebrate TONI&GUY’s 50th Anniversary with the ARTELIER Collection.
To give you some background information, TONI&GUY was established in 1963, in the south of London. Now they have 406 salons and 23 Academies in 41 Counties worldwide. In fact, they have educated more hairdressers than any other company. On average, it’s 100,000 hairdressers each year. TONI&GUY has also morphed to create label.m in 2005.
The brand’s 50th Anniversary collection ARTELIER takes its name from the french word for ‘Artist’s studio’ and is made up from a mix of inspirations from the artistic team. The collection features 10 definitive cuts and 8 colour techniques.
Upon introducing each look, they ran through the inspirations this included the work of designers such as Alexander McQueen and Peter Pilotto as well as campaign shots, models and more.
The looks to me were about making your hair the ultimate accessory and being able to switch it up. In fact, each of the models came in with ready haircuts, and they were transformed with more texture and shape using Label.m products.
It was a great night and congratulations to TONI&GUY for reaching such an amazing milestone.
