October Diaries: Trying Sunday Riley, K18, Dumb Money, Lumo Glow and more

I’m back, baby; it’s been a while since I put words down in a blog format, but honestly, too many social channels are taking over my life, and more or less, I didn’t have a lot of exciting things happening…or so I seemed! I am recovering financially from Europe and getting a second root canal on the same tooth as last time, so I’ve been hibernating generally! But as the month went on, a list started to form of all the things that have excited me, made me think, or smile, and so here we are with the October Diaries for 2023.

This month I tried:

This month, I tried new skincare! Sunday Riley where kind enough to send me some skincare and I LOVE. Sunday Riley is exclusively at Mecca in New Zealand and kinda hard to get your hands on (I have been told this will be fixed soon enough). The winner for me was the Good Genes Lactic Acid Treatment.

This month I repurchased:

After about 6 months of supermarket shampoo (nothing wrong with it) I caved and purchased the full K18 Hair System. K18 is a revolutionary brand that has been creating waves in the world of hair care. This innovative brand has developed a hair care technology focusing on repair and rejuvenation. The name K18 comes from the brand's key ingredient, K18Peptide™. This game-changing peptide is designed to repair and restore damaged hair at a molecular level, providing a solution for those struggling with brittle, over-processed, and damaged hair. Well after a bad hair day, followed by a $15 haircut I decided I want to love my hair like i used to, whilst simplifying my routine with K18. Early days, but so far so good.

Best Gift?

Hands down my new outfit from MAX. I picked up the Aaliyah Blazer, the Aubrey Pleat Front Pant, and the Natalia Shirred Blouse, and almost cried in the store. I haven’t shopped in forever, to walk in a store and try clothes, and try things I wouldn’t buy either and then to walk out feeling STUNNING and empowered, the best experience. It was a gift from MAX to wear to an event, and honestly best gift, and something i actually needed for my heart!

A product launch i’m excited about - Lumo Glow

A friend on the gram, as I say, is launching a business Lumo Glow, and I’m so excited for her but also excited to support her too! I can’t support her financially yet, but when I can, I will be making a purchase! Lumo Glow products use the power of LED Light Therapy, something I’m fond of, to help improve the skin and even my mood too, on so many levels. Keep an eye out for Lumo Glow - I know Alana is going to do so well!

At the movies, you catch me at - Dumb Money.

I was lucky enough to see this movie a month ago, and since then, it’s become my Romian empire. (For those reading this later, or looking back, Romain Empire is a TikTok tread around men saying they think about the Romain Empire daily)
"Dumb Money," is a hilarious and thought-provoking comedy based on a true story. "Dumb Money" follows the adventures of a group of clueless and not-so-clueless investors who stumble upon an influencer in an effort to get rich quickly. As the characters navigate the treacherous waters of greed and ambition, the movie cleverly explores themes of irrational exuberance and the fragility of wealth. "Dumb Money" is a cautionary tale wrapped in high entertainment value.

What’s next?

November is a weird time, but already my calendar looks rather exciting. I’m booked in to be a model for a cosmetic procedure (pray for me), I am attending a store launch and adding another handbag to my collection (so spoilt), and have my husband’s birthday! I also love the month before Christmas, people are just a little crazy, am I right?

Have the best month babes!
