Photoshoot: By Nature Skincare

Content Creation makes my heart happy, and with each and every shoot I grow. I don’t often share a behind-the-scenes of a shoot because I’m so In the moment but when I got the photos back from this shoot I had to share.

99% of the time you just see the end product, but behind it is hours worth of work, multiple brains, and a tone of heart and effort. Here is how the process went for me on this shoot!

I was asked to shoot some content for By Nature Skincare. It was focused on a cleanser I use and love so naturally, I said yes! The Purifying Gel Facial Cleanser features Aloe and the packaging has fresh green tones to it. I look at it every morning in my shower and it screams nature and green. Straight away I knew I wanted to shoot this product outdoors and in nature. I really wasn’t prepared to see another Influencer washing her face at a basin. But I must admit shooting a cleanser in gardens wasn’t overly natural either!

For a location, I choose the Winter Gardens in Auckland’s Domain, made up a mood board and contacted my photographer.

For this shoot, I choose Angela Pan to work with. I really like Angela’s work, and her palette tone is what I was looking for. Angela is an influencer/ Content creator much like myself (Follow her here) and I knew she would grasp the concepts quickly! Also knowing her made the shoot super easy, relaxed and a fun time! She truly was awesome!
