Elizabeth Arden Gelato Crush Colour Collection - A Beauty Review

The latest collection by Elizabeth Arden is inspired by the playfulness found in every day, the new Gelato Crush Colour collection allows you to treat yourself on-the-go, wherever, whenever you please. The collection includes 22 new plumping lipsticks, ten lip liners, and four cheek tints. The products are all formulated with hyaluronic acid so, like Gelato ice cream, they are the perfect way to cool down on a summer day.

Elizabeth Arden Gelato Crush Colour Plump Up Lip Liner, $46

This liner is a current fave. Super pigmented and boosted with peptides to help plump the lips. The formula is smooth and creamy. The other thing that impressed me was how long the liner lasted. The packaging is also a win for me with the applicator being dual-ended for seamless blending and filling in with the silicone tip.  The colour range is also perfect, with ten easy to wear colours.

Elizabeth Arden Gelato Crush Colour Plush Up Lip Gelato, $51

With the launch featuring 22 new shades, I was excited about this product. The pigment is not as intense as the lip liner, making it the perfect summer go to. The formula instantly cools and plumps lips, and feels amazing on thanks to a mix of peptides and Hyaluronic Acid to plump, Shea Butter to lock moisture in and antioxidants Vitamin A, E and Rosemary Extract to leave lips soft and nourished. These are ideal for the beach and hot days when you need a cooling and moisturising lip product with a strong hint of colour. The only thing I would note is to be careful to keep it out of the sun; it will melt pretty quickly!

Elizabeth Arden Gelato Crush Colour Cool Glow Cheek Tint, $68

There are four shades are available in the Gelato Crush Colour range providing a natural blush to complete your look - Coral Daze, Pink Perfection, Nectar, and Berry Rush.  Cooling upon contact, this water-based gel cheek tint also doubles as a cheek stain and is very light on the skin. It is cooling thanks to being formulated with hyaluronic acid. It has a long lasting wear time and a natural finish. The finish is dewy, with a light tint of colour. It is very blendable.

Overall I like the range but mostly because it is fun! The colours are young, and the products have been well thought out. They are ideal for summer!

Have you tried this range? What did you think?
