I Try: A Lymphatic Body Sculpt Massage at Sydney Beauty, Auckland

With a trip to Europe coming up, I’ve been working hard to prepare myself. Not only to feel confident in my skin when it comes to Bikini season for my Euro Summer - but also to love and nourish my body. When the opportunity came up to have a 90-minute Lymphatic Body Sculpt Massage at Sydney Beauty in Auckland, I jumped at the chance.

A Lymphatic Massage at Sydney Beauty consists of a full body massage combining lymphatic drainage massage with Vagheggi rollers to sculpt, tone, and smooth a contoured silhouette instantly. Sounds like heaven. But what are Vagheggi rollers? They are a set of rollers designed to improve cellulite imperfections, sculpt the body, reduce fat deposits, and drain excess fluids. Each tool works in a different area to fight cellulite, reduce, treat, stimulate, and drain the excess toxins.

The treatment was incredible. It started. With my legs, we moved up the body to my arms, back, and sides before working on the front of my body. Within the first 10 minutes on my legs, she had used all 5 Vagheggi rollers on my body. They didn’t hurt; in fact, I enjoyed the feeling; they were all unique in their way. They also made soothing sounds, perhaps unintentional but soothing. The Swedish Cup was my favorite, a weird sound, but I liked it. There were times when my body was sensitive, my thighs and my upper arms, and this is common for me with any Lymphatic Drainage Massage, but this massage was different.

I have had Lymphatic Drainage massages before, but what I loved the most about this treatment, and the 90-minute option, is that I got the best of both worlds. I got the benefits of a Lymphatic Drainage and body sculpt massage, but with my whole body getting some love—my feet, hands, forearms, scalp, face, and upper back. The tension of Lymphatic Drainage, which can sometimes be sensitive, was outweighed by soothing strokes in areas that also needed it.

Sydney Beauty is a destination; I have been a client with them for eight years now, and our Instagram story chats go back to 2017. When it comes to lashes, they are the best in the business. Post my 90-minute Lymphatic Body Sculpt Massage at Sydney Beauty in Auckland, I was treated to a beautifully relaxing tea, which was Lemon, honey, and ginger, and it was suggested by Hellena that I have a light dinner. I went home and did just that, followed by one of the best nights of sleep ever. Hellena told me earlier she sees a client weekly who has sleep issues, and this massage helps her. I didn’t think much because I generally don’t sleep so differently after a massage, but WOW, did I sleep great after.

The next morning of course, my body was happier. My arms, thighs, and stomach are noticeably smaller, and I found myself reaching for water more to hydrate and keep this body balance. These massages are recommended weekly, but a course of three is also ideal before an event. I have my next one booked, and I cannot wait.

The treatment was gifted, but it was heaven, and I know when im home post-Europe, I will be in again for this Lymphatic Body Sculpt Massage. It was such a treat.
