Making Money Online - Seven Ways I Make Extra Cash

As a modern girl, there are a variety of ways to make money from the comfort of your own home. I really like quick wins and easy ways to make cash without extra effort.

In this blog post, we will explore some of the most popular methods to earn extra income.

1. Surveys
   
   Taking online surveys is a popular way to make some extra cash. Many market research companies seek individuals to share their opinions on products and services. These surveys are usually short and can be completed in your spare time. Some companies even offer incentives for completing surveys, such as cash or gift cards.
   
   I use AttaPoll - but what I like about AttaPoll is that you also make 10% off your friend’s earnings! As a result, I’ve been making an extra $25 NZD on average each month.
   

2. Cashback schemes
   
   Cashback schemes are a great way to earn money while shopping. Many websites and apps offer cashback when you make purchases through their links. These cashback amounts can vary, but they can add up over time. Some credit cards also offer cashback rewards for certain purchases.
   
   I love Coupert - Obsessed with it; if I shop at Countdown, Ticketmaster, etc., I get cashback but also for things like hotels and flights. I am obsessed and make about USD 25 a month. Coupert for the win!
   
   Further to that, Croupet has helped me save money when I shop, looking for discount codes for me and promoting me to save.
   

3. Affiliate Marketing
   
   Affiliate marketing is a way to earn a commission by promoting other people's products. This is often done through social media or a personal website. When someone clicks on your affiliate link and makes a purchase, you earn a percentage of the sale. This can be a lucrative way to earn passive income. I don’t have many affiliate links currently, but when I did, I made around $100 a month just to share what I love.
   

4. Sell items online
   
   If you have things that you no longer need or use, you can sell them online. Websites like eBay and Trademe are great places to sell your items. You can also sell items on Facebook Marketplace or other social media platforms. I am a Trademe girl through and through (New Zealand Based), and I sell pretty much everything. Like I see stuff on the road, pick it up and sell everything kinda person.
   

5. Digital Products
   
   Of course, I have a range of digital templates for sale on Etsy. Once the templates are made, they require next to no work on my end. Very set and forget, and every now and again, I get reminded and make a bit of extra cash!

6. Make the most of referrals.
   
   This one feels annoying, but did you know you can make cash or store credit for referring others? Sites like Onceit, Hellofresh, Adore Beauty, and more give you credit when you refer a friend. This one is a goodie; just watch it doesn’t affect your budgeting or lead you to buy things you don’t need.
   

7. Enter Giveaways
   
   I feel pretty guilty about this one, but I ALWAYS enter a giveaway whether I like the prize or not. A) You’ve got to be in to win, and b) If you do win, then it’s free! So list the item on Trademe and get some cash. Sneaky, but it all adds up.

In conclusion, there are many ways to make money as a modern girl. Whether you prefer taking surveys, cashback schemes, affiliate marketing, or selling items online, there is an option that can work for you. With a little effort and dedication, you can earn extra income from the comfort of your home.
