Five Things I Love Right Now - Fitness Edition
With comp prep on the books, I am all about all things fitness. Anything that might make my life a little easier, or cute or just generally excited about hitting the gym. Here are some of my fitness faves this month
1.Whey House 100% Whey Protein Whey House is a NZ made 100% Whey Protein. I first stumbled across this brand thanks to Jen! (@jenniferbeckhamfitness) and I am so glad I did. The flavors are organic, they feature no soy or artificial sweeteners and the packaging is biodegradable with a fully compostable outer shell. Most importantly to they taste great! I have been lucky enough to try all the flavours, Banana, Chocolate, Vanilla and Strawberry and I am happy to say I am in love.
2. Weleda Roll-On Deodorants Weleda has a new product on the market certified natural 24h Roll-On Deodorants. I got sent this in a PR package and was like "Oh great another natural deodorant which promised 24hour protection" but something compelled me to give it ago over the weekend and now I'm a convert. I have always been a Weleda fan so now I am excited to add this to my staples. Formulated without aluminium salts, to allow the skin to function healthily, the deodorants are naturally fragranced with pure essential oils. I still sweated as my pores were not blocked however the Citrus roll on, with the pleasant scent of lemon and litsea cubeba kept me fresh all day long. The price isn't cheap but these are natural ingredients so I will be willing to pay the $15.90 price tag.
3. Sweet Sweat Sometimes you just want to try something...I ordered Sweet Sweat off iHerb and picked up the Sweet Sweat Stick and the Sweet Sweat Waist Trimmer in pink. Sweet Sweat is designed to create a thermogenic effect on the applied areas. It increases the circulation of exercising muscles, allowing you to maximise your workouts. It really is a bit of fun but boy oh boy to I love to see the sweat dripping off my stomach after cardio sessions. Also iHerb - if you ever want 5% off any time feel free to use my code KPT851.
4. New Balance 247 Classic I have these shoes in the above style, white and black. The New Balance 247 Classic is comfortable, stylish and can take you anywhere. They feature an Innovative REVlite midsole which provides premium responsiveness and durability at a 30% lighter weight than other foams with comparable performance as well as a breathable mesh upper. Also priced at $140NZD they are such great value for money!
5. Cotton On Body Hi-Waist Active Tights and the Shine Collection I love this latest campaign from Cotton On Body all about shining a light on women making a difference using teach. The collection uses high shine fabrics and metallic prints. The tights are high waisted and have a touch of shine to them but without being over the top. Paire them with the Spliced Sports Crop and the Printed Jacket for a complete look. I have this set and have been wearing it weekly when those days have been a little dull!
