I try the Pure Fiji Tropical Paradise Glow at About Face

It was the winner of the Best Body Treatment at the 2017 NZ Best in Beauty Awards.  Naturally, I had to try it! The Pure Fiji Tropical Paradise Glow at About Face was perfect for my first ever body scrub treatment.  I won't lie, I walked in rather stressed.

In fact, I was writing an email as I walked into the lovely warm treatment room. I did however put my phone away as I really wanted to be in the moment (Hence no photos! sorry guys). I got changed and settled wearing nothing but a lovely disposable underwear with a towel across me. The treatment then began and it was heaven.  First, the Pure Fiji Coconut Sugar Rub was applied.  

The Pure Fiji Coconut sugar rub is a scrub with fresh sugar cane crystals. It contains naturally occurring alpha hydroxyl to gently buff away aging skin cells, polish your skin clean and unclog pores. Added to this is the deep moisturizing richness of a blend of cold pressed virgin coconut oil and exotic nut extracts to nourish, moisturize and protect your skin. This combined with milk and honey was applied all over my body including my chest and stomach. 

I was then rubbed down and the Pure Fiji Hydrating Body Lotion was applied. This was a winning product in the NZ Best in Beauty Awards too and I can tell you it is amazing. 

Now my therapist....I don't even want to share her name because of fears she will be booked out! She was amazing. Taryn was her name at About Face Remuera. She suggested I come in for a regular Pure Fiji Tropical Paradise Glow every 4 weeks, telling me then the skin cells renew every 28 days.  Trayn's knowledge was outstanding. I asked her about dry lips and she suggested a gentle toothbrush and pointed out that the scrub has no nasties in it and is perfect for the lips too! She also provided me with a suggested at home routine but didn't product push which I loved! She was all about me and I took my Omega's today because of her! 

The Pure Fiji Tropical Paradise Glow is a 55 minute treatment and costs $109 and is sooo worth it. 

I would also suggest taking home the Pure Fiji Glow Spa Box. It includes a 28ml Body Oil and Body Lotion, 60 ml Body Butter, and Sugar rub all for $28 but I think it would be good for use in-between treatments. After talking with Taryn I am no hooked on applying the body oil post-shower so this mini pack was helpful, particularly if you are new to Pure Fiji like me and what to try the products. Granted I think next time I will be picking up the full sized Pure Fiji Exotic Bath and Body Oil. 

It was my first ever body scrub and I can tell you now I am hooked. The Pure Fiji Tropical Paradise Glow at About Face exceeded my expectations. From easy parking (Remuera) through to amazing staff and products. I can't even question the price!
