WIWT: Fed Street Fashion

From the hustle of the working daily grind,  to casual brunches (the latest offering at MASU is amazing!), coffee meetings, spa visits…hello East Day Spa, and sightseeing, Federal Street is the perfect spot for people-watching and daily fashion inspiration. In fact, it’s the perfect spot full stop.

SKYCITY Auckland has decided to take advantage of the street style catwalk that is Federal Street, and every week is sharing some of the personal style that people rock on the SKYCITY Auckland Instagram channel. From the cute triple-denim family to the woman in her 70’s, Fed Street Fashion shows the “People of SKYCITY” as they come.

This year I got involved and here is what I wore down Fed St on an overcast Sunday, fairy lights above me.

So what did I wear? A simple Lonely Heart’s Dress designed to take me from Depot to the Sky Cafe to the Casino. I paired it with my fave Senso heels and my Deadly Ponies Handbag. My Boohoo Jacket kept me warm and made the perfect accessory on this somewhat windy Auckland day.

The photographer? Apela Bell was the man in charge and not only was easy to work with BUT LOOK AT THESE PHOTOS. He’s worked for some pretty rad magazines and effortlessly used Federal Street as the background. #Skills.
