Fashion Forward: Matt & Nat
I was first introduced to Matt & Nat by the lovely Haley Guildford from She Lives Cruelty-Free. I fell in love because the material was soft and it looked beautiful but it wasn’t made from Bambi. Matt & Nat are vegan. With Coachella coming up I was looking for something easy, something I could dance with, something that could hold a water bottle and something that was fashion forward. Matt & Nat came to mind.
Built on the principles of veganism, Matt & Nat specialises in creating beautifully minimal and 100% recyclable vegan leather goods. At the time of inception (1995) there was an opportunity to provide fashionable items to people who want to be vegan or vegetarian as well to spread this message of love and respect. In case, you were wondering Matt & Nat stands for Material and Nature.
One of the key points about Matt & Nat is that it is vegan. Now, I am not vegan but I do hold respect for animals and where possible look for items that are cruelty-free. I like that Matt & Nat is vegan. I like that it is recycling. Standing out from the crowd as well as being fashion forward with trendy designs.
My Matt & Nat backpack is has a lining made solely of 100% recycled bottles, and the outer is 100% vegan Leather.
It screams Coachella and I cannot wait to take it with me.
