Review: Shiseido Synchro Skin Lasting Liquid Foundation

Foundations are an integral part of any make-up routine and finding one that is in sync with your lifestyle can be tricky. This month I reviewed the latest from Shiseido: the Shiseido Synchro Skin Lasting Liquid Foundation. If you have been following me for the last six months you may have noticed that my skin is looking better than ever. I have fallen in love with Shiseido’s White Lucent skincare range and have been using that for the last six months now. It is the best and it will not be replaced anytime soon!

With my love for Shiseido skincare in the bag, it seemed like time to branch out and try what else they have on offer.  The Shiseido Synchro Skin Lasting Liquid Foundation is a good place to start.

The key features of the Shiseido Synchro Skin Lasting Liquid Foundation include it being oil-free, long lasting and (is) designed to enhance your complexion whilst maintaining skin clarity and preventing shine, creasing and fading. It also has an SPF of 20.

Here are my thoughts:

Coverage and texture: The coverage is very buildable with the texture being soft and silky.  It has such a light feel and makes it look undetectable. My skin feels great and visually it doesn’t look too heavy, or really heavy at all.

Wear Time: The Shiseido Synchro Skin Lasting Liquid Foundation is one of my favourites when it comes to wear times. Because it is so natural and in sync with my skin I am never left with a melted face. I look good and fresh from start to finish.

Packaging: It has an easy pump which makes for easy (for) application. I am not a big fan of the latest dropper application trend so I am pleased Shiseido has kept it simple.

Price point: At $69 this is pretty good! And with its ease of use it glides on my skin effortlessly meaning less is more.

Overall impressions: I really like my Shiseido Synchro Skin Lasting Liquid Foundation. I don’t have to think about it, it’s no fuss and I don’t have to blend it for hours. Plus my skin loves it. It sits nice, it feels nice and it’s affordable.
