On Location - The Grand Mercure Auckland

The newly renovated Grand Mercure Auckland is the perfect spot if you are looking to stay in Auckland City, Or if you want to take some time out and enjoy some cocktails,  or a great view.   The Grand Mercure Auckland is located in the very heart of the city and has over 207 rooms. It's very own Custom Lane transforms from café to bar as day shifts to night. The rooftop Vue Restaurant and Attica Bar has unobstructed views of Auckland's skyline and harbour.  The Auckland hotel is also home to a library and yoga studio. 

The Grand Mercure Auckland hosts two bars and a restaurant. The views from Vue Restaurant and Attica Bar are a must see. Placed on the 13th floor, it makes for a romantic date night.

If you are looking to stay the  Devonport Suite was not only spacious, but the room was well thought out. Highlights for me included USB ports bedside for simple phone charging. I also should note that the bathroom mirrors were perfect for selfies.
