Salon Love - H&CO Beauty Auckland
As the seasons have changed so has my skin and it was time to give it some love. I headed in to H&CO Beauty to check out their new home and give my skin some love. H&Co Beauty is a beauty salon in Grey Lynn's, Richmond Road. I visited on a rainy stormy dark late night and it was the perfect haven. The room and decor were beautiful and the bed…It had an electric blanket.
I was booked in for a Medik8 facial with Rebecca and it was heaven. I felt relaxed and at ease as Rebecca fully explained the process and the steps she was going to take. The process started with me completing an extensive, but necessary form. It gave Rebecca all the insights she needed to pick the best products for my skin. She took it one step further however and after cleansing my face she checked out my skin a little closer. She gave me some valuable insight into my skin and how to best look after it.
Medik8 is a professional brand and was picked by Hayley Williams, Salon owner as a preferred choice of skincare. Medik8 is a skin research company which is results based whilst being kinder to the skin and planet. At H&Co Beauty they believe in it so much that it is the only range they stock and use. Rebecca used only Medik8 products during my facial and suggested products for me post facial in a non-invasive way. She gave me something to think about without disrupting my 'me' time.
The result? My skin is feeling and looking amazing. Since the facial I have also upped my routine, understanding the importance of drinking water and what my skin needs which is a moisturiser. My trip to H&Co Beauty served as a reminder to give my skin some love.
If you're in Grey Lynn I would recommend you check out H&Co Beauty. You should know they also do Tans and stock the awesome 2-hour Naked Tan as well as your usual beauty essentials. I got my brows tinted mid facial on request and it was awesome.
