Are Kylie Jenner Lip Kit's worth the Hype?
There was a thrill, an adrenaline rush as I saw Kylie Jenner's tweet. The tweet was simple "22 is available on http://KylieCosmetics.com " My blood was rushing. I clicked the link, added it to my cart and pressed purchase. My excitement was real. I Snapchat'ed my purchase acceptance, I also tweeted it. I managed to get my hands on a Kylie Jenner Lip kit. Sure it was a weird orange colour and not the one I wanted. It also cost about $60 but I was excited.
I then viewed Kylies Snapchat. She showed the lip kits, she also showed that they were in fact, once again, sold out. I squealed with delight. One Kylie Jenner Lip kit had my name on it.
The package arrived and I squealed, naturally I had to photo the box when it arrived, I also had to film my unboxing. It was like it was Christmas. I was so excited.
Upon reflection = SO MUCH HYPE. But why? I purchased a colour I am not to keen on; I could have brought 1.2 MAC Lipsticks and I wouldn't have to wait for the shipping.
Worth the hype? I wouldn't change a thing.
The packaging was beautiful, nothing about it was cheap or nasty. The shipping was quick. The colour? 22 is perfect.
I like knowing that I have the perfect lipliner - in my opinion, they should always be sold in sets. It is also good to know that the products are not tested on animals, and all shades of The Kylie Lip Kit (excluding Candy K) are vegan.
Would I buy again? YES!
